13 different games will be played in the league tonight. Among the rest, one game stands out. The 9-3 Utah Jazz travel east to take on the 7-3 Atlanta Hawks. Tonight is the only game in which both teams have won at least seven.
Both the Jazz and Hawks are off to strong starts in the 2022-23 season. Utah currently holds the number one spot in the Western Conference and they have exceeded their early expectations. Atlanta is now the fourth-best team in the East, but in first place in the Southeast Division. The Hawks took down the undefeated Milwaukee Bucks 117-98 against Trae Young on Monday night.
NBA betting sites have the Jazz at (+8000) and the Hawks at (+4000) to win the Finals this season.

3 things to watch out for in Jazz vs Hawks tonight
1. Both teams have won five of their seven games
The Utah Jazz currently have the best record in the Western Conference, winning five of their last seven games. Utah has also won its last three games straight. Offseason trades have given the Jazz more depth on the roster this season. They moved Colin Sexton off the bench, who was a starter in Cleveland last season. Utah gets Jared Vanderbilt, who has started all ten games this season.
Atlanta has won five of its last seven games. They recently beat the undefeated Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. They have a chance to take down the top two teams in each conference in consecutive games. Two statement wins in a row for the Hawks and it could prove that they are an indestructible team.
2. Risks of injury
Last night the Hawks were without their All Star PG, Trae Young. Dejounte Murray stepped up in Young’s absence and had his best game against Atlanta so far. Murray had 25 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals in the Hawks’ 117-98 win over Milwaukee. It was a good game for the Hawks without Young, but it may not be sustainable for long. Trae is listed as questionable tonight with a shin injury. Last night was the first game he missed all season.
For the Jazz, Vanderbilt is listed as questionable to play tonight with a groin injury. Malik Beasley and Collin Seton each got a start in the two games Vanderbilt missed this season. The team will really miss having him on the board tonight. Vanderbilt is second-highest in assists per game (8.2) on the team this season. Kelly Olynyk should try some more rebounds tonight.

3. The Jazz play unselfish basketball
Utah has an extremely unselfish team this year. They have six different players averaging double-digit points for the team this season. Three of those six players are averaging at least 14.6 points per game. Getting rid of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert in the offseason has been good for Utah so far. The team was able to add more depth to their squad. Laurie Markkenan leads the Jazz in points per game (21.9).
Atlanta took down the undefeated Bucks on Monday night and could win back-to-back games against the top team in the West. Dejounte Murray and AJ Griffin had great games for the Hawks, but getting Treyan back is good news.
