Kettering, Ohio – Jill McGill won the U.S. Senior Women’s Open for her third U.S. Golf Association title on Sunday, closing with a one-stroke victory over Letha Lindley with an even-par 73.
McGill, 50, finished 3-over 289 on NCR Country Club’s South Course. In the year She won the 1993 US Women’s Amateur and the 1994 US Women’s Amateur Public Relations.
Lindley shot 74.
Catriona Matthews shot a 73 to tie for 1st and third with 2019 winner Helen Alfredsson as the third round co-leader with a 76.
Defending champion Annika Sorenstam shot a 77 to finish tied for 5th with 2018 winners Laura Davis (78) and Julie Inkster (73). Davis started the round tied with Alfredsson for the lead.
