The Bill Russell City Edition jersey that the Boston Celtics will wear 12 times throughout the 2022-23 season has been revealed.

The jersey color is modeled after ‘Milwaukee Bucks Green’ with gold and black accents alongside a collection of Bill Russell’s championship rings that appear on the side panels.
According to the Celtics, this is a project the league and team have been collaborating on in recent years with Russell himself — who will wear them a total of 12 times this season.
Boston will wear the uniforms for six home games and six road games, and Opening Night will headline the first of two Bill Russell tribute games honoring the Celtics legend with special activities.
The Celtics are the Vegas favorites to win the Eastern Conference titles ahead of the 2021 champion Milwaukee Bucks at +275 prices in NBA betting.
