The Detroit Pistons own the worst record in the NBA with a 10-30 record. Additionally, they are 2-8 in their last ten games and most recently lost to the Trail Blazers last night 135-106. Detroit lost PG Cade Cunningham to season-ending shin surgery and it’s been a disaster since, including a clash with the Orlando Magic. The team received more bad news today when Marvin Bagley III was reported to be sidelined for an extended period of time with a right hand injury.
Bagley was traded from the Kings to the Pistons midway through last year and played 18 games for Detroit last season. He played 25 of the 40 games he played this year and played 13 games. His points, rebounds and minutes played per game are career lows.
Michigan sports betting sites have the Pistons at (+100000) to win the playoffs this season.

Marvin Bagley III may miss extended time with a right hand injury.
EPSN’s senior NBA analyst Adrian Wojnarowski reported today that Bagley III will miss “extended time” after suffering an injury to his right hand. Sources said the 23-year-old will undergo further tests to determine his next steps and the severity of his injuries.
Bagley’s injury came in the second quarter of the Pistons’ game against the Blazers last Friday. He and another player jostle for a seat on the board, and Bagley immediately grabs his right hand. He was clearly in pain and complaining while out on the court. After a few possessions, Bagley III did not return to the game.
In the summer, he signed a three-year contract with the team, and both parties hope that this is not a serious injury. Bagley II was the first big man off the bench for the Pistons this season and now his role must be filled. Sadiq Bey and Nerlens Noel could be the answer to this problem.
