* Silva currently It is ranked 28th in the world By the World Boxing Council (WBC) as super welterweight (154 lbs).
* Made his professional debut in April 2016 with a second round TKO over Brian David Aranda.
* He drew in his third match against Gonzalo Andres Chaparro. That is the only blemish on the record so far.
* In the year He defended that belt four times.
* In November 2020, he suffered a minor setback when he hit the deck in the fifth round against Javier Maciel, but bounced back to complete a 10-round decision win.
* In February 2021, he was involved in a very surprising event when he met Gabriel Omar Diaz. Silva catches Diaz, and gets him locked in an armed front headlock. But then Diaz bit Silva on the hand, making it too hard for Silva to hit him in pain, and the referee disqualified Diaz after a review.
* Entered the bout with a 23 – 4–1 record in June of last year, winning a 10-round decision against southpaw Diego Ramirez.
*Silva’s last outing was on September 2nd, when he scored a fourth-round knockout of Jesus Pina Najera.
* He doesn’t mind playing the attacking role and knows how to cut the ring. You can classify it by basic voice.

* Samir grew up in Accra, Ghana, where his father did some boxing, so he knew the sport well. He also excelled in his country and won a silver medal at the 2007 All-Africa Games.
* Defeated Mauritius’ Bruno Juli to qualify for the 2008 Olympics. He lost his opening bout in the bantamweight division to Venezuela’s Hector Manzanilla. Interestingly, Julie, who participated in the Olympic competition, won a bronze medal.
* Isah is the brother of Bastir Samir who represented Ghana in the 2008 Olympics in light heavyweight. Amazingly, Bastier jumped from welterweight to light heavyweight in a year to earn an opening to qualify. And is now 20 – 0–1 as a professional.
* Isah turned in a second-round TKO of Abdulmejid in July 2011. Ironically, although he qualified for the Olympics a few years ago at bantamweight, Samir made this promotion at 155 pounds.
*He defeated each of his first eight opponents. And to continue his rapid climb up the ladder, in May 2013 he won the IBF World Youth Championship at 154 pounds by third-round TKO over Robizoni Omsarashvili.
* Won the 154-pound title in his home country of Ghana with a 12-round decision over Ishmael Tate (September 2012).
* All the fights took place in Ghana until the end of December 2020, when he was stopped in three rounds by Edos Yrbossinuli, who was then undefeated. After sitting on the third floor, Sameer turned the ring around.
* That fight took place in Kazakhstan and there were three different “belts” on the line: the WBA International Super Middleweight, the WBC Asian Boxing Council Super Middleweight and the WBO Global Super Middleweight. Sameer hasn’t fought since. .
* This will be his first fight in America, even though he is on a train in Las Vegas.
* Sameer is a boxer of good standing. Hold your hands up. He flourishes a lot, and has a sneaky left hook.
* Refers to himself as a “cool and decent guy”, unless he’s in the ring, that is.
