Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder may be on the move. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Atlanta Hawks and Suns have been in talks for “several weeks and months” about trading for the Patriots.

The former second-round draft pick has established himself as a premier defenseman who can stretch the floor offensively. Crowder is the type of modern 3-and-D player that any team would value. It’s no surprise that the Hawks aren’t the only team interested in the 32-year-old.
The trade rumors surrounding Crowder came after several reports that Phoenix was shopping the veteran during the offseason; Crowder took to Twitter to express his feelings.
One should look for work wherever he wants.. wherever he wants.! I am grateful for what these past 2 years have taught me! Now I have to take another exam with continued dedication and hard work.! Thank you for visiting the door! 99 soon! 🥷🏾🤫🤐

Not only will he not attend training camp, but Crowder has announced that he wants to play for a team that needs him. Since tweeting this, Crowder has not been seen in training camp or the preseason. It is the same with the veterans when the organization is looking for a solution for its future.
Cam Johnson is set to replace Crowder in the Suns lineup heading into the new campaign. If the trade goes through, it will be interesting to see how the veteran fares, teaming up with Trae Young’s latest Big Three, Dejuente Murray and John Collins.
