Jae Crowder and the Phoenix Suns have agreed to work together on a deal that would send Crowder to another trade, according to reports.
Crowder, 32, played two seasons in Phoenix after joining in 2020 and made the NBA Finals in his first year with the Suns but came up short in six games for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The forward had a successful season with the Boston Celtics under Brad Stevens from 2014-17, playing a key role alongside Isaiah Thomas, Jaylen Brown and Kelly Olynyk.
The Phoenix Suns and Jae Crowder have mutually agreed that the veteran will not participate in training camp going forward while the sides work on a trade, sources said. @Athletics @ Stadium.

Crowder played 67 games with Phoenix during the 2021-22 regular season and averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in their final Western Conference semifinal loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
There is expected to be a lot of interest in the player around the league and with training camp starting this week for most teams in the NBA, a trade for Crowder could be imminent.
