While many NBA teams could use COVID-19 as an excuse, the Rockets are not one of them. Houston won just 17 games during the 2020-21 season. After James Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2021, the team struggled to win.
Most NBA betting sites are giving the Rockets their third-lowest odds to win the championship in 2023. But there are two sportsbooks where gamblers can bet on them to make the run.
Jae’Sean Tate: “There’s a lot of teams around this league that we’re still building and we’re still trying to figure things out. All of our mindsets are going and trying to hit guys in the mouth, try to be. The forwards and I think you’ll see that this year.”
