The Utah Jazz signed center Micah Potter to a two-way contract and Cody Zeller to a training camp agreement. Potter is out of Wisconsin in 2021.
During the NBA 2K23 Summer League, with the New York Knicks, Potter averaged 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in five games.

On September 10, 2021, Potter signed a contract with the Miami Heat. However, he was dropped by the team after a month without an NBA appearance. After signing, Jazz said, “God is good! Thanks for the opportunity! Time to work! “
In 11 games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA G League, the center averaged 14.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. Not to mention, he shot 44.1% from the floor and 39.5% from 3-point range.
He finished third in the G League for blocks (12) and total tackles (324). The Wisconsin product was selected to the NBA G League All-Rookie Team.
The Ohio native then signed a 10-day contract with the Detroit Pistons on December 29, 2021.

In three games with the Pistons last season, the 6’10” center averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds per game. He also shot 45.5% from the field.
Also on January 5, 2022, in the Pistons’ 140–111 blowout loss against the Charlotte Hornets, Potter recorded a career-high 8 points and 6 rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
Meanwhile, Cody Zeller was selected fourth overall by the Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets) in the 2013 NBA Draft. He played two NCAA seasons with Indiana. The 29-year-old will have a chance to play with the Jazz next season.
Of course, during his rookie season in 2013-14, the center averaged 6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. The Indiana native was selected to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

During the 2019-20 season, Zeller averaged 11.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game with the Hornets. Maybe the Jazz can help him off the bench.

The contract in Exhibit 10 may be converted into a two-way contract. The nine-year veteran must give it his all in training camp. However, he prefers to play with the Salt Lake City Stars, Utah’s G League affiliate.
