The LA Clippers are 13-10 so far this season, which is second in the Pacific Division and fifth in the Western Conference. They are 5-3 in their last eight games and have lost two of their best stars, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. It was reported that the two returned to practice on Friday and are close to returning to the game.
Clips head coach Ty Lue said both are considered questionable for Saturday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings. This will depend on how they feel after practicing today. Leonard has already missed double-digit games this season and they don’t want to extend that past him.

George and Leonard are about to return to the Clippers soon.
Kawhi has missed the past five games with a sprained right ankle, and George has missed six straight games with a sprained right cruciate ligament. Head coach Tie Lu spoke to the media about his plans for the two players.
“They do something today and see how they feel,”… “But they are both making great progress.” – Tai Lu
Luke Kennard also told reporters that he will practice today but will not be available for Saturday. Kennard has missed eight straight games with right calf strain. Norman Powell will also be out for the Clippers as he was on Wednesday night due to lefty insanity.
“I’m so glad to have the boys, PG and Kawhi, Luke back,”… “But now we have to wait for Norm, hopefully he’ll feel better soon. But I’m just excited to see what we have. – Tai Lu
The Clippers will host the Sacramento Kings in kickoff on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
