Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (left knee soreness) and forward Caleb Martin (left ankle soreness) have been sidelined for Tuesday night’s home game against the Chicago Bulls.
Other players listed on Miami’s injury report include Udonis Haslem (Achilles), Jimmy Butler (knee), Dewayne Dedmon (foot), Gabe Vincent (knee) and Omer Yourseven (ankle).
With Urseven out indefinitely, Haslem is also questionable, Vincent is out, and both Butler and Dedmon are likely. According to several NBA betting sites, the Heat have the 14th-best odds to win the championship in 2023.
UPDATE: Kyle Lowry and Caleb Martin have both been ruled out.

Lowry has missed four games this season, including Monday’s game. This will be the third straight game he has missed. The six-time All-Star sat out Miami’s 111-108 win over the Houston Rockets (Dec. 15) and 111-101 win over the San Antonio Spurs (Dec. 17).
In 28 starts, the 17-year veteran is averaging 14 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game. To add to those stats, he is shooting 40.1% from the field and 35.3% from beyond the arc.
Heat guard Kyle Lowry (left knee), wing Caleb Martin (left ankle) will play against the Bulls on Tuesday.
Also, this will be the third game Caleb Martin will miss this season. He was inactive against Spurs on Saturday. In 29 starts, the fourth-year wing is averaging 11.1 points, 4.7 boards, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He is also shooting 46.8% from the floor and 39.6% from 3-point range.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said after the game in Mexico City: “We want to improve from here on out. Coming off a successful season, this shows how hard it is to win.” “Nothing is guaranteed in this league, there’s a lot of parity, we know the path to success, and we have to do things that a lot of teams don’t do.”

Miami begins its four-game homestand against the Bulls. Of course, the two players Chicago has listed on the injury report are Lonzo Ball (knee) and Javonte Green (knee). The ball is not expected to be played until the first two months of 2023 and the condition of the green is questionable.
Chicago is on a four game skid. The team has lost seven of their last 10 games. However, the Heat are playing well right now. The team is 6-4 in their last 10 contests and is on a four game winning streak.
As another note, the Bulls are 2-8 in their previous 10 matchups against Miami. Many sportsbooks show the Heat as four-point favorites at home. So far this season, they are 9-6 at home and 16-15 overall.
