Ruben Neves succeeded where Brennan Johnson failed as Wolves edged to a much-needed victory over Nottingham Forest at Molineux.
Neves netted from the penalty spot in the second half to give Steve Davis three points in his first game in caretaker charge.
Forest could have taken a point but Jose Sa saved Brennan Johnson’s late spot-kick to leave the visitors rooted to the foot of the table.
