In a game the Raptors desperately needed to win, Pascual Cama was doing everything offensively for Toronto. The one-time All-Star scored a career-high 52 points last night on the road against the New York Knicks. That ended the Knicks’ eight-game winning streak. Siakam and the Raptors are just 3-7 in their last ten games, but he dug in last night to put on a great performance.
The 28-year-old NBA champion has been on a tear lately. He scored 27, 38 and 52 in three consecutive games. Toronto has dropped to tenth in the Eastern Conference, but is only three games behind the fifth-seeded Philadelphia 76ers. With 45 seconds left in the game, New York’s Julius Randle had a chance to cut the Raptors’ lead to two points. That lineup and the Knicks’ chances of winning have slipped.

Pascal Siakam scored a career-high 52 points to snap the Knicks’ eight-game losing streak.
The Knicks had 17 turnovers last night against the Raptors and it’s hard to win with that many turnovers in the NBA. New York’s star players have been off or down in big moments of the games. “It just slipped,” Randle said of the lineup with 45 seconds left in the game. It was a shot the Knicks desperately needed, but it’s not all his fault.
Jalen Brunson had arguably one of his worst games with the Knicks so far. He finished the game with just seven points and went 3-14 from the field and 0-3 from deep for the game. Brunson finished the game with 12 tackles, but said he was disappointed to let the team down.

New York had a chance to take the lead in the final minutes of the game, but was blown out by the Raptors. Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet took over to end the game for Toronto.
