It’s been a battle to be on the court for Brooklyn Nets SG, Seth Curry this season. Along with Ben Simmons, he was traded to James Harden before the deadline. Curry is trying to manage an ankle injury he’s been dealing with since last season.
The Nets ruled Curry out for today’s matchup against the Washington Wizards. Ben Simmons is out with a minor knee issue and Kyrie Irving was suspended by the team yesterday after controversial content he reposted on social media. Only three guards will be out for the Nets today.
Tonight we’ll see a starting spot from someone like Cam Thomas or Patty Mills. Thomas played well for the Nets last season while Kyrie was out of the lineup. NBA betting sites have the Nets at (+1600) to win the Finals.
Seth Curry is out tonight, should probably play tomorrow. Kessler Edwards is in the G League. # nets

Seth Curry for tonight’s game against the Wizards
The Brooklyn Nets play their ninth game tonight and SG Seth Curry has missed eight of those games. He played last October 29th and has been working his way back from ankle management. Neither side wants to get him back too soon and lose him for too long.
Curry had successful arthritis surgery on his left ankle early last season. He played through a sprained ankle last season and will miss a few games here and there to keep the ankle under control. Even after a break to rehabilitate and strengthen his ankle, Curry is still trying to get back on the court.
Kevin Durant has carried most of the scoring load for the Nets this season (32.5 per game). Kyrie is averaging 26.9 points per game, but has been out for “fewer than five games” on the team. The Nets need their secondary scorers to show up and make an impact.
