In a difficult time for Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole, teammate Steph Curry managed to lift Poole’s spirits with the highest free throw percentage of the 2021-22 NBA season.
Poole finished the 2021-22 NBA season shooting 92% on free throws, making the 23-year-old the league’s most efficient forward, just shy of Poole’s scoring streak.

Draymond Green was caught punching Poole in practice last Wednesday, leading to a media firestorm that called into question Green’s future at Bay and whether he could mend his relationship with the team.
Despite Sunday’s 124-121 preseason loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, it was a very exciting time for Poole and his family in front of the Warriors at Oracle Arena.
Poole scored a team-high 25 points and added four rebounds and six assists on 53% shooting from the field, while Anthony Davis’ 28 points in 21 minutes were enough to help the Lakers past Golden State.
The Milwaukee-born guard is on the verge of getting a lucrative contract extension, like Miami Heat star Tyler Herro’s recent four-year, $130 million contract extension to stay in South Beach.
The Warriors are Vegas favorites to win back-to-back championships at +575 in NBA betting, ahead of last year’s eventual champions Boston Celtics and 2021 champion Milwaukee Bucks.
