Stephen Curry is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world. He is probably the greatest shooter this game has ever seen. But the reason he is a champion is not because of what he does on the court. Curry is an incredible mind off the court and works as hard as anyone in the NBA.
In a recent gym workout, people announced that if they want to become a champion, they should always be prepared.
Stephen Curry’s race speech
Curry had the following to say during Rico Hines’ personal run.
“It’s good to see your competition, everyone here with one goal: to be ready for June, when your time comes. If it hasn’t happened yet, these are the times that matter. Looking back, you will achieve your goals and be proud of yourself for how you handled the times when no one else was watching.
“I don’t feel better talking to someone who was there, but all this stuff is important … because you’re going to need this in June. [pointing at his head]You want your body, you want your competitive fire – and it’s all built now.
Warriors are in good shape with Curry.
As we have seen this season, Stephen Curry is still good enough to help the Golden State Warriors win NBA titles. It’s amazing how well he can play this season at his age. Curry hasn’t aged, but he’s getting up there. Shooting the three-point shot and killing defenses is no problem for him, no matter how old he is.
The Warriors have a legitimate chance to repeat what they did this season in 2023. They are returning some key players and if Curry continues to play like he did, there is no doubt that the Warriors will remain a title contender. It will be interesting to see if he can continue to play like this for the next few years, but there is no sign of him going back any time soon.
