Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is truly the catalyst that makes everything work for the team. He showed that on Tuesday night with a 60-point triple-double against the Knicks and carried the team in the big moments as usual. There’s no question that Dallas needs to make a move to acquire another superstar if they want to become a serious title contender. Fortunately, a star player in the East has some tough issues with his own team that could pull him out.
Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls have had many reports of a disconnection with his teammates on the court and it has caused a lot of frustration within the organization. A current trade could work for both sides, but nothing is guaranteed yet.
Adding a player of LaVine’s caliber to the Mavericks is an incredible move for their organization. Luca will finally have a player like him who can have big attacking nights. If they’re Mavericks serious, they’ll be serious about looking into a possible trade. Texas betting sites have the Mavericks at (+3300) to win the playoffs this season.

Is Dallas a serious trade destination for Zach LaVine?
The Mavericks are on a bit of a hot streak again as they are 6-4 in their last ten games and on a four game winning streak. That leaves them seventh in the West with a good chance of continuing their climb. Phoenix is in fifth place, just a half game ahead of Dallas, while the Grizzlies are in third place with a two game lead over the Mavs. Continued success in the new year could further motivate the team.
NBA insiders are closely monitoring the situation with Dallas and the Chicago star SG trade. According to Tim McMahon, there is a possibility that this will happen in the future.
“I know my fans are there [Zach LaVine] Those who hold prominent positions in the Mavericks,… “Again, I’m not going to sit here and tell you there’s a big consensus. I think there are enough fans out there that I wouldn’t rule him out completely. – Tim McMahon
Chicago star SG to five-year, $215 million deal in first season. Signing a player like LaVine in a trade will force the Mavericks to make some tough decisions regarding salary. One thing is certain. Luka Doncic will need the help of another star player if he wants to be a title contender this season and beyond.
