Future Hall of Famer and ESPN broadcaster Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley is not particularly a fan of current multi-talented Jervonta “Tank” Davis. “I don’t like the guy because of what I hear and see,” Bradley said. Battle center Regarding Davis, who was recently accused of assaulting his daughter’s mother. “I think he’s a piece. I really do. It’s a piece. You lay your hands on women like this, you’re trash in my book. You are not human. My father always told me that if you do something like that, you are a coward. You are a coward inside. You are a coward because you have to choose someone who cannot defend himself. It is not correct. And I don’t care about what happened and everything he said later and she did this and she did that.”
When asked about the expected matchup between Davis and the legendary and undefeated Ryan Garcia, Bradley made it clear that Garcia will have to improve some things if he expects to win. Still, Bradley left no doubt who he was pulling for. “I’m rooting for him,” Bradley said of Garcia. I want him to win because I’m not a fan of Tank… I’m not a fan of what he does and the way he acts outside the ring and I want Ryan Garcia to kick his ass. I knocked him out. Put it on his pants. Shame on him while he’s waiting… but I don’t know if that’s going to happen.”
Bradley said earlier in the interview. Battle center It’s time for Davis to start some serious competition (Garcia thinks he fits the bill). “I think Hymen and Mayzer Promotions have done a great job building it, a great job building the brand,” Bradley said. “Now is the time to give him his career, his Hall of Fame career. That’s what a tank should think about. I want to remember.”
As for Garcia, Bradley offers an honest assessment. “We’re not sure what it is,” Bradley said. “Is Social Media Darling or Struggle?” Still, Bradley has to thank Garcia for having the guts to take on someone like Davis. “The boy deserves a lot of respect,” he said. “I’m not saying Ryan Garcia isn’t ready to tank anymore…. is it ready do you know? Dammit, he’s ready. ” Bradley doesn’t think Garcia is as prepared as he could be for Davis.
“He’s got to fix those holes first,” said Bradley, who declined to say what the holes in Garcia’s game might be. “You have a coach,” he said. “He can tell you what it is.”
