Not every team in the NBA is built the same. Certain teams have balanced lineups and rely on multiple players to score for them. They have other players like Luka Doncic and Steph Curry who carry their team almost every night. Top 10 players in points per game
1. Luka Doncic (33.5) pg
The three-time All-Star is averaging more than 30 points per game for the first time in his career. He has 30 extra points in 15 games this season. Doncic has scored 40 or more three times. Luca is also the MVP of his own team. The usage rate this season is off the charts. He averages (33.5) points, (9.1) rebounds and (8.1) assists per game.
2. Steph Curry (32.3) pg
It shouldn’t be a shock to see Curry near the top of this list. He is one of the best scorers the NBA has ever seen. This season, Curry has scored 30 or more points in 16 of his games this season. Curry excels as an elite three-point shooter and perhaps one of the best scorers to ever grace the NBA hardwood.
2. Joel Embiid (32.3) pg
Joel Embiid is currently one of the league’s best centers in scoring for the Philadelphia 76ers. The big man has missed some time this season and the team announced that he will miss two games in a six-game hitting streak. However, Embiid is still averaging 32.3 points this season and has scored 30+ points this season.

4. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (31.1) pg
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the best players for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is averaging 31.1 points per game this season and has scored 30+ points in 15 games this season. Shai is shooting 53 percent from the field with 92 free throws.
5. Kevin Durant (30.4) pg
The Brooklyn Nets have relied heavily on Kevin Durant this season, just as they did last year. Durant is still producing at a high level this late in his career. He has scored 30 or more points in eight of his 17 games this season. Additionally, he has averaged 25+ in every game this season. Brooklyn relied on Durant to carry the offense at times.

6. Jayson Tatum (30.3) pg
Jayson Tatum is a player whose name is near the top of the MVP conversation right now. He scores 30.3 points per game, but more so for the Celtics. Tatum also averaged (7.4) rebounds and (4.5) assists per game. The three-time All-Star scored 30 more points in half games this season. He’s gotten better and better every year he’s been in the league.
7. Donovan Mitchell (29.9) p
Donovan Mitchell proved to be a great addition to the Cleveland Cavaliers season. He leads the team in scoring (29.9) and has scored 30+ points in 14 games.Mitchell has led the offense in the first few games and the team has been awaiting the return of Darius Garland. He scored 30 or more points in five of his first six games.
8. Giannis Antetokounmpo (29.5) pg
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the greatest players the NBA has seen in recent history. His combination of size, speed and athleticism are unpredictable at times. This season he is averaging (29.5 points), along with (12.0 rebounds) and (5.3 assists). Antetokounmpo has scored 30 or more points in half of his games this season.

9. Jay Morant (28.6) p
Morant was off to a hot start to the season before suffering an ankle sprain in Friday’s Game 1. However, Morant is still off to a hot start. He has scored 30+ points in eight of his 14 games this season. Morant also averaged (6.2) rebounds and (7.1) assists per game.
10. Devin Booker (27.6) pg
The Phoenix Suns had a great start to the 2022-23 season, but have slowed down since then. Devin Booker leads the Suns in points per game (27.6) this season. Booker is shooting 48 percent from the field this season. He has scored 30 or more points in six of his 16 games this season.
