The Atlanta Hawks are one of the top three teams in the East and are currently 16-16. The Hawks are 4-6 in their last ten games and most recently lost to the Bulls last night 110-108. There is some serious drama happening in Atlanta right now. Trae Young and the Hawks appear to be on different pages, and NBA executives believe the superstar could ask for a trade if the team can’t find a way to resolve whatever is going on internally.
Trae Young is the superstar PG in this league and NBA execs believe he could be asked to leave Atlanta at some point. In five NBA seasons, Young has started 309 games. He is averaging (27.6) points, (2.9) rebounds and (9.8) assists per game for the 2022-23 season. His three-point and field goal percentages are now career lows. The coming months will be a big challenge for the Falcons in terms of where they see young talent in the organisation.
NBA betting sites have the Hawks at (+6600) to win the Finals this season.

Drama between Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks has begun.
In a recent article by Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, he details what a Trae Young trade could look like and what the Hawks can do to try and resolve the issue.
“Rival executives believe Hawks guard Trae Young could be the next superstar if the team doesn’t make the playoffs.” – Chris Haynes
Young is a two-time All-Star and is under contract through the 2026-27 season. He could be another rookie star at a high extension that requires a trade. However, the 24-year-old has an early termination option after the 2025-26 season. Earlier this week, the Hawks moved Travis Schlenk from team president to a consultant position. The Hawks next game is against the Detroit Pistons on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
