It’s been a roller coaster season so far for the Golden State Warriors after winning the NBA Finals last season. With a 20-19 record, the Warriors are third in the Pacific Division and ninth in the Western Conference. Injuries have played a major role in the Warriors’ 2022-23 season so far. Golden State is currently trying to get hold of Steph Curry, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury. Fortunately, they received good news as another superstar returned to the lineup.
Head coach Steve Kerr updated the media last night that Andrew Wiggins has been out for more than a month after the fight loss. Wiggins hasn’t played in a game since 12/3 and was initially sidelined with a right hamstring strain and has missed the past four games with a non-Covid illness.
He is in his fourth season with Golden State and has played in 22 of 39 games this season. Adding him to the lineup is another scorer who can take over the game when Curry is out. NBA betting sites have the Warriors at (+950) to win the Finals this season.
Andrew Wiggins Update: Finally, good news, the Warriors said Wiggins has been cleared to return to practice, which he will use to regain his fitness. Wiggins has missed 10 games and 4 games due to illness. It will be reviewed again later this week. #DubNation

Andrew Wiggins confirmed to return to training for the first time in more than a month
After the Warriors’ 122-119 loss to the Detroit Pistons last night, head coach Steve Kerr has a positive update on the return of Andrew Wiggins.
“He’s had some really good workouts the last couple of days and now he’s different…” So he’s looking in a good direction. – Steve Kerr
Golden State’s next game is this Saturday against the Orlando Magic, and Kerr Wiggins said he’s not sure if he’ll be back then. He mentions that things are going well for him in the growing process. Returning to the gym to get the conditioning and reps you need is invaluable in his recovery. Even the best players can’t take a month off and expect their bodies to play the same way after an injury.
The Warriors have lost seven of their nine games since Wiggins’ injury on 12/3. Curry lost that game with a shoulder injury. After Kevin Looney hit a buzzer beater against the Hawks to keep their five-game winning streak alive, it looks like Golden State is finally hitting their groove. That streak came to an end last night as Sadiq Bey was beaten by the Warriors. Tuesday’s 10/10 game could be a more accurate return date for Wiggins.
